Civilized Evil is run by twins Dani and Rae. We didn't care for dolls as children and much preferred playing games but now we've been collecting dolls and sewing doll clothes for them since 2003.

Our favorite part about dolls is the ability to customize them and bring them to life with details and clothes that give them personality. They are always willing canvases for our creations and we love making unique items to make them more special!

We use all sorts of methods to make custom items, from silk screens, to dye sublimation and a laser cutter.

Basic Info

Laser-cut items are cut with a glow forge laser. The laser seals the edges of the man-made fabric to prevent frays.

Furniture items and larger dioramas may be cut with a laser cutter or a CNC machine instead of a laser

Dye Sublimation is a process which uses heat to permanently dye synthetic or blended fabrics permanently.

Commissions

We have the ability to print and customize most of our clothing items, with either solid colors or various graphic patterns. Graphics made by you can be printed onto fabric and will no be reproduced without your express permission.

Furniture commissions are taken on a case by case basis. we currently create for 1/6 and 1/4 scale dolls.

Production timeframe for your custom items depends on the complexity of the items. Please use the contact page to enquire about commissions.

With the addition to diorama room boxes to the site it seems important that I add payment flexibility. Any order including a roombox (or over $100USD) will now be eligible for layaway. There are 2 main options for layaway.

Traditional Layaway.

The traditional layaway is directly invoiced through me, there will be a 25% non-refundable deposit and each month after that will be 25% more minimal payments. There is no penalty to early payments and it is encouraged. There is an additional 10% charge for this layaway option as I will incur more additional fees for each payment. Payments expected monthly, however in case of unexpected emergencies I can delay payments up to two additional weeks. Communication is key, if you need extensions you will need to ask for them. Lack in communication will end with your order canceled and you blacklisted from further purchases. If you are interested in this layaway method the form for that is here.

Directly through paypal.

Paypal offers two different delayed payment methods. Your items are shipped after processing times even before full payment is completed. Paypal pays me the advance and you get your items after the processing time (usually before your payments are completed to paypal) Paypal payments are subject to credit approval and I unfortunately have no control over those decisions.

1. Paypal Credit. Paypal credit is an open end (revolving) credit card account that provides a reusable credit line via paypal. The offer no-interest options for purchased paid in full within 6 months.

2. Pay in 4. Interest free option to buy now and pay later. After setup you pay paypal every 2 weeks in 4 total installments.

For both of these options select “pay later” in paypal during the checkout process.
